This pair of puppy eyes had since become puffy eyes.
He had been rubbing his eyes alot for the pass 2 days and I noticed yellowish discharge from his eyes too. He also whine alot about his eyes being painful and he tears often, thus we brought him to NUH Children Emergency to check his eyes out.
Doctor suspect eye infection and worries that the infection will spread to other areas such as *ahem* the brain..... According to the doctor, children's infection and virus are prone to being spread elsewhere and eyes are especially close to the brain. That worries me alot!!
They had given us an urgent appointment at the eye clininc tomorrow morning with 2 types of antibiotics and an eyedrop.
Hopefully, the puppy eyes will come back soon.

The eye doctor didn't seems to know what is the cause.... First they suspect eye infection, then they also suspect it may due to allergy but then again he say he is too young to get allergy, so, the outcome is no conclusion........
Since he looks better today, I didn't really want to irritate the doctor nor myself further...
Will bring him to a peds eye doctor instead....

Oh dear, how's Declan now? Yah... better seek 2nd opinion if he doesnt get any better... take care and wish Declan fastest recovery.
Oh dear, I hope it's nothing much serious. I hope he recovers soon. The eyedrops should help and try to tell him not to rub his eyes. The discharge should be normal unless it occurs very often because when we wake up every morning, there's bound to be a little yellowish discharge at the corners of our eyes, no?

claudia, the reason why i was worried cos he was tearing for no reason throughout the day and the yellowish discharge forms in broad day light while he was awake lor.
Anyway now he the tearing and discharges stopped already.
