Zoo AGAIN!

My sister invited us to zoo today. Free entry as it was her company's Family Day. It's a really wet day today. We arrived at 8.45a.m and enjoyed about 2-3 hours of fair cool weather before it starts pouring. How often do you get to stroll in the zoo with long sleeve T and not a drop of prespiration??

He's getting better with his posing. He used to just stare blankly at the camera, now he's learnt to boogey in front of the camera and he will just stand near the prop he likes and say :"Mummy take picture."

The above are just some of the animals we came close to. I particularly love the white tiger, they look so graceful. We even encountered a kangaroo which hop across us to get to the other side of the pasture. Gave me a shock when i see this huge thing went boing! boing! boing! right pass me. I was quite amused too.

Dec spent the most time observing the python. We came across an exceptionally active python which kept dancing around in it's enclosure and Dec kept following it to and fro.

Coming up is my favorite picture of the trip. He and the ground squirrel!

Since it's family day, of course there will be goodies for the kids. Cotton candy, pop corn and balloon sculpting.

The sculpted balloon which he got was supposed to be a bear holding a heart but this cheeky fellow actually wore it like a hat.

Out of so many of our zoo trips, I think today's trip was the most fruitful one. He is at the super curious age which he'll keep asking :"What is this?" and also he'll keep saying :" I want to see" upon reaching each enclosure. The past few trips, when he was younger, always ended up with him sleeping in the pram half the time. Though he did fell asleep on this trip but not before he actually looked through 3/4 of the entire zoo. He missed the "Children's World" this time, where he could have played in the playground.

My next destination - to the BIRD PARK again! when the weather is not so wet.

*p/s* I hate his goondo looking hair!!! Ah kong's fault... but I am appreciative that he brought him to the barber but the style could have been better....

I wanted to bring her to the zoo again, but Brian is unable to make it this month since it's the super-peak period at work :(

I can see that he enjoyed himself alot yah? So much fun! As for the hair...it still looks pretty ok in the pix...:)

ohh glad that you gals think he looks fine. Personally I find that the cut is too short, i prefer him with longer fringe. compliment his puppy eyes better hehehe.

This is like is 4th or 5th trip to the zoo already and he really enjoy this very last trip. He's able to appreciate the animals better.

Fannie, if you can plan early when you want to go, let Kiat know, he can take the card from his company and you all need not pay.
